Beery expensive drink at Stadium

THE YANKEES hope to hit it out of the park with an exclusive new beer. Long Island-based Blue Point Brewing Co. has teamed up with the Bronx Bombers to create a pale lager that fans can score only at Yankee Stadium. NY Pinstripe Pilsner will be available at the new Blue Point Bleachers Bar in the left field bleachers area. The lager is brewed with Pilsner malt and Motueka hops, resulting in a crisp taste with a hint of lime aroma. It’ll cost about a buck or two more than other beers sold at the Stadium. A regular Pinstripe Pilsner will cost $6.99, compared with $5.59 for a regular domestic draft. A large Pinstripe Pilsner will set you back $12.89, compared with $10.89 for a large domestic draft. The Yankees’ home opener is Monday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
