It took “Grown-ish” actress two months to recover from donating a kidney to her BFF, singer in June. Raisa tells Lapalme Online she has no regrets. “When someone is going through something like that, there’s only so much you can do,” Raisa said. “I was fortunate enough to be able to give a piece of myself to help her, and I’m very grateful for that … I’m not sick, thankfully, but even while I was recovering I snapped at one of my friends because I had a hard time getting up from the bed. She just kept saying, ‘Breathe, breathe.’ I literally went, ‘Shut the F up,’ because I was frustrated.”
