Bird vampire can ‘count’ on lockup

THE “VAMPIRE” of Bryant Park is going to have to get used to jail food.

The man busted for biting the head off a pigeon and slurping up its blood last summer took a plea deal Tuesday in exchange for four months behind bars.

Daniel Ventre, 34, was arrested Aug. 30 after he killed the bird and creeped out midafternoon park visitors while standing in a fountain at the Midtown park.

“I’m a vampire. I love to eat and suck the blood out of pigeons,” he allegedly told cops.

Ventre also compared himself to Ozzy Osbourne, the Black Sabbath rocker who infamously bit the head off a dead bat during a 1982 concert in Des Moines.

Ventre’s plea deal covers several open cases he had for animal abuse, trespass, marijuana possession and petty larceny.

The Count Dracula wannabe was homeless at the time of his collar.
