JETS TO LOOK AT RB

Free agent running back Thomas Rawls is visiting the Jets Thursday, according to a source.

The former Seahawks ball-carrier averaged a league-high 5.6 yards per carry for 830 yards as an undrafted rookie in 2015 before two forgettable seasons due to a broken fibula and poor play.

Rawls, 24, rushed for 157 yards on 2.7 yards per carry last season. He’s averaged just 3.0 yards per carry on 167 attempts in the past two seasons.

Gang Green made a strong play for former Vikings free agent running back Jerick McKinnon before the 49ers ultimately out-bid them. — Manish Mehta
