Council speaker polices self, KOs lip-syncing video

- Jillian Jorgensen

DELETE THAT, maybe.

Council Speaker Corey Johnson scrubbed a Twitter video Monday of himself lip-syncing the Carly Rae Jepsen hit “Call Me Maybe” — because it showed the police lights were on in his city-issued SUV.

Johnson tweeted the clip at 7:02 a.m., en route to film a segment on Fox 5’s “Good Day New York,” wishing New Yorkers a “Good Snowy Monday Morning” from himself, staffer Sean Coughlin and Jepsen.

But in addition to the pop hit, the video also featured some lighting — and not of the disco ball variety. Spokeswoman Jennifer Fermino said the lights — which she said are controlled by his detail, not Johnson — were on because of heavy snowfall during the trip to Fox 5’s studios.
