If it’s your birthday

-

You must know when to take things more seriously, and when to take them a little less seriously. That does not mean being irresponsible; but rather, knowing when to lighten up, ease back on worrying and try a more creative approach. Effort will only get you part of the way to where you’re going; considering and trying new ideas will get you the rest. You share a birthday with Booker T. Washington, Bette Davis and Agnetha Faltskog. MAY 21-JUNE 20 Take note of any struggle you may experience between what you consider private information and your public image. For now, err on the side of saying less rather than saying more, though you might ask yourself why you would want to keep any secret — or why you would want to reveal it. JUNE 21-JULY 22 You might be in a tense situation involving your professional affairs, though that will push you to be more inventive and more disciplined. Don’t waste time and energy on conflict. Stick to solving problems and plotting a course of action, and work only with those who are cooperative. JULY 23-AUG. 22 Your long-term vision for your life or your business may be getting caught up in kinks and complications that you must address immediately. Yet there are clues to how you might arrive at some greater destination contained in the everyday working out of seemingly minor issues. AUG. 23-SEPT. 22 The solution to just about any question, problem or issue related to sex is to talk about it honestly. Most people wouldn’t know that because they haven’t tried. You’ll need to say words and express feelings, needs and desires that you don’t usually express; however, it will be well worth it. SEPT. 23-OCT. 22 Consider what’s going on if you have any qualms about being an attractive, appealing person. You might think this is a curse, but would you want to be any other way? The solution is to make peace with who you are, and the responses you get from others, and gently guide the process. OCT. 23-NOV. 21 Despite tension in your environment, keep a calm mind and you’ll devise creative and practical solutions to anything that comes up in the course of work or art. Quiet your mind, and get into a relaxed state — then the information and ideas will flow. Being near water will help. NOV. 22-DEC. 21 Delays in certain facets of your life will prove helpful; so when you encounter one, pause rather than powering through it. You will need to do some deep thinking, and looking at the situation from several angles. That will take a little time; there’s less need to rush than you may believe. DEC. 22-JAN. 19 If you’re feeling blue or under the weather, spend a bit of time at home, with some privacy. You need to be somewhere familiar and comfortable where you’re free from an agenda or needless distractions; and check your phone at the door. Soon you will feel much better. JAN. 20-FEB. 18 If you’re working on writing anything, keep revising it until you get it right. What seems like a big problem may just be a small one — a matter of approach, visual presentation, or making things more positive. Focus your questions and experiment a little, and you’ll get it right. FEB. 19-MARCH 20 Today’s meeting between the Sun and Neptune indicates there’s a solution to a financial problem, and it’s closer to you than you may think. Be gentle with any seeming blocks or obstacles, and let your creativity do the work. Emphasize ideas over action; take it slow.
