CATHERINE PROUD MA – CONFIDENTIAL:

-

IT’S NOT EASY keeping up with the Zeta-Joneses. Catherine Zeta-Jones and her 17-year-old son Dylan Michael Douglas had a throwback moment at an Upper West Side barbershop, according to a source in the ’hood. The star of the film “Chicago,” who was a guest judge on Thursday’s “Project Runway All-Stars” finale, took Dylan for a trim last week where he spotted a magazine cover on the wall, featuring his mom and dad, actor Michael Douglas, cradling him as a newborn. “He said, ‘Hey that’s me!’” according to a fly on the wall. ZetaJones signed that Us Magazine cover for barber Arthur Rubinoff at Reamir & Co. on W. 74th St. and Amsterdam in 2000 and it’s been hanging on the wall ever since. Dylan turns 18 in August. “They were in Bermuda for Easter, then they were here,” according to our source. That insider said that ZetaJones mentioned she was heading back to L.A., but had some loose ends – or maybe split ends – to deal with here.

One thing keeping Zeta-Jones busy is the Lifetime “Project Runway AllStars,” where she shared a panel with designers Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina

Chapman, who is wrapping up her divorce from disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.

In late February, Zeta-Jones, who has a furniture line called Casa Zeta-Jones, posted photos of her son’s bedroom on Instagram. She seemed to take credit for helping “make over” the space, which featured a huge sign that spelled out “Dylan” over his bed. Shortly before that, Zeta-Jones appeared on “Today” to boast about her brainy boy, who was applying to colleges at the time.

“It’s all so exciting to me,” she said. “I was in the theater, and I look at him, and I go, ‘Wow, I was working when I was your age.’”
