Show me money – Rudy and Judi
RUDI AND JUDI want receipts.
A “demand for statement of net worth” was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on Friday, two days after Judith Nathan filed papers for a contested divorce from former Mayor Rudy Giuliani after 15 years of marriage.
A contested divorce often suggests a potential fight over marital money and property.
In contested divorces, a demand for info on net worth is a fairly routine request, said Michael Stutman, past president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Stutman said the timing also raises the question as to whether Giuliani,73, and Judith, 63, inked a prenup.
Normally a standard prenuptial agreement lays out who gets what.
Nathan’s lawyer did not respond to a request for comment. Giuliani could not be reached.
