B for baby as Cardi jolts ‘SNL’

The Bronx-born star showed off her baby bump on “Saturday Night Live.” A slow pan of the camera during Cardi B’s performance of “Be Careful” revealed her poorly kept secret through a tight-fitting wedding dress (inset) after months of denials and loose-fitting clothes.

Cardi B, 25, celebrated the big reveal by proclaiming “I’m finally free!” in a video shot backstage after her performance and shared to Instagram.

She also referenced her future child in a tweet early Sunday. “I started winning when the whole world was doubting on me! Think Imma lose with my little baby counting on me?” she wrote.

The star’s fiancé, the rapper Offset, also expressed his excitement about the couple’s growing family with a photo of him and Cardi B holding hands on Twitter.

Cardi B is due the first week of July, according to TMZ.

TMZ first reported that Cardi B disclosed her pregnancy to nightclub staffers in early February but she denied it when asked if she was hiding a “Kylie Jenner secret” on Instagram.

“No, I’m just getting fat. Let me fat in peace,” she replied.

Offset also tried to shut down the rumors when TMZ asked if he was ready to be a father. “I’m already a father of three, I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about,” he told the gossip site. The 26-year-old performer with the Migos group has three children from two previous relationships.
