BOBBY D IS A GOAT-TO GUY

-

Sat Trump Tower moved cosmetics mogul from the makeup room to the director’s chair. Roth (photo inset), whose skin care products are sold at Nordstrom and Sephora, was shopping on Fifth Ave. with his son and his niece from Seattle when they saw smoke coming from the building’s 50th floor.

Thinking it was no big deal, Roth’s shopping party went ahead, while he decided to stay back and shoot video on his phone. What happened next led to dramatic footage that has gotten nearly 4 million views on his @peterthomasroth Twitter account and been broadcast by TV networks, including ABC and NBC. “It’s crazy,” said Roth, who’s been in Trump Tower on multiple occasions, including 30 years ago when his parents considered buying a unit there. “There were two people looking up, so we looked up and there was smoke, but it didn’t look so bad at first.”

Then he saw “an explosion of fire” as windows shattered overhead.

“As soon as the glass blew out, I kind of hid under the scaffolding . . . it was almost scary,” the Manhattan native said. Roth thanks his high school and college photography classes for the steady inferno footage: “I can shoot a good picture.”

Saturday’s fire wasn’t Roth’s first close encounter with a Trump catastrophe — the 60-year-old beauty expert said he was in attendance when

married in 1993. That marriage ended in 1999.

“I’ve stayed friendly with Marla,” Roth said. He ran into then-candidate Donald Trump at a country club shortly before the election and claims the future President remembered Roth had a skin care line that was carried by high-end hotel chains where he stays.

“I like your soaps with the bumps on it,” Trump allegedly told him.

Roth and Trump suddenly have something else in common — a love for Twitter.

“I posted (the video) on Twitter, which I never really use, and it’s so funny, I’ve gotten 1,000 new followers,” he laughed. “I posted on Facebook and Instagram and got just a couple hundred views.”

Roth’s first brush with national press came in 1996, when President

was photographed using his company’s sunscreen on a beach in Virginia.

“There was no internet, but it went out on the wires,” he recalled.

Roth himself was in the news in 2016 when he briefly dated ex-wife You talking to me-e-e-e-e? “Raging Bull” star crossed paths with a goat before taking in a performance of Broadway’s “Once on This Island” on Sunday. De Niro (inset) and his wife, went to Circle in the Square Theater on Sunday, where “De Niro and one of the goats passed on the staircase leading to the in-the-round seating,” according to one insider. Whether that goat was Sparky or Peapod — the two kids who appear in the show — is unclear.
