RAGING OVER TRUMP’S BULL

-

After being told would only answer questions regarding the Tribeca Film Festival, we asked the “Raging Bull” star about a character he can’t resist using as a punching bag — President

De Niro (above) claims that watching the administration engulfed in scandal isn’t fun, but he hopes it’s the beginning of the end. “No, it doesn’t make me happy,” he laughed as a publicist tried pulling him away from the conversation at a luncheon for “AT&T Presents: Untold Stories,” which is linked to TFF.

But De Niro said he’s hoping for impeachment. “I hope so, when, when? It ain’t over till it’s over. I can’t wait for him to get impeached!”

The 74-yearold actor has not pulled punches when it comes to Trump. He has dubbed The Donald “our babyin-chief” and said he wanted to “punch him in the face” when Trump was a candidate for office in 2016.

De Niro hopes that the Tribeca Film Festival, which he co-founded in 2002, will outlast the Trump administration. “I’m very happy to say at least that it’s lasted this long and hopefully will last,” he said.
