Feds may have Cohen’s tapes

- Leonard Greene

THERE MAY be “tapes” after all.

President Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, was known to tape conversations, and White House officials are worried investigators might have gotten their hands on recordings, according to the Washington Post.

Cohen’s lawyers, meanwhile, have asked a judge to stay a Stormy Daniels lawsuit against him arguing that it may violate Cohen's Fifth Amendment rights, even though Trump has criticized people who invoke the protection.

“The mob takes the Fifth Amendment,” Trump said during the campaign. “If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?”
