Slain in lobby of Bx. building

A 28-YEAR-OLD man was knifed to death during a fight in a Bronx apartment building lobby, police said Saturday.

The victim was repeatedly stabbed in the thigh during the brawl on Sedgwick Ave. near W. 179th St. about 11 p.m. on Friday.

Medics rushed him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately released. Police sources said he was visiting a friend in the building when he was attacked. No immediate arrests were made.
