Poe’s Bronx nabe flush with down-home faves

- BY RACHEL WHARTON

You’ll find real history outside the Kingsbridge Road/Grand Concourse B train stop in the Bronx neighborhood of Fordham Manor. The 19th century white farmhouse where Edgar Allan Poe wrote the poem “Annabel Lee” (inset right) sits less than a block away. If you visit, hit the swanky slate visitors center, take a weekend tour, then grab some food at one of these three haunts.
