Crashes into garage, gets a DWI bust
A 20-YEAR-OLD man drunkenly crashed his car into the garage of a Long Island house early Sunday — and then tried to drive away, police said.
Kevin Sheehan (above) lost control of his 2013 Ford Fusion on Bayport Ave. in Bayport and slammed into the home just after midnight, according to Suffolk County police.
Sheehan drove off, but cops caught up to him a short time later, authorities said. He refused to take a blood-alcohol test, they said.
Sheehan, who’s from Blue Point, was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and marijuana possession.
He was arraigned in Suffolk County District Court in Central Islip on Sunday and ordered held on $6,000 bond or $3,000 cash bail.
His lawyer did not return a call seeking comment.
