PITCHING PROBABLES

Because of the rain, Luis Severino got bumped to Monday. Masahiro Tanaka will start on Tuesday. CC Sabathia (hip), who was thought to be making his return from the disabled list on Tuesday, will actually start on Thursday.

Luis Cessa, who was supposed to start over the weekend, has been optioned back to Triple-A Scranton. Aaron Boone said Cessa would be needed soon, though, as a potential sixth starter, so he wanted him to stay built up in the minors. There is no corresponding roster move as of yet.

Shane Robinson, who had been designated for assignment, was outrighted to TripleA Scranton.
