You will have access to excellent athletic facilities, including a 5,025-seat arena that hosts various Hofstra Pride athletic teams; an indoor, Olympic-size swimming pool; state-of-the-art fitness center and various athletic fields. Hofstra also offers 17 intercolle­giate athletic programs that compete at the NCAA Division I level.

Hofstra is home to 33 local/national fraterniti­es and sororities, as well as more than 270 academic, media, multicultu­ral, performanc­e, pre-profession­al, religious, social/ political, and sports clubs and organizati­ons. Our students complete 100,000 hours of community service each year.

Our 244-acre campus is a nationally recognized arboretum with more than 12,000 evergreen and deciduous trees. We are also home to a nationally accredited museum – a distinctio­n given to less than 5 percent of museums nationwide – with more than 5,000 works of art in its permanent collection and approximat­ely 70 outdoor sculptures.
