Deadly gunfight

A GUNFIGHT at a Bronx hair salon ended with one man dead, and his killer shot in the leg, police sources said.

The brawl broke out in the Ambience Unisex Salon on White Plains Road near E. 220th St. in Williamsbridge at about 8 p.m., cops said.

Kevin Higgins, 47, was shot in the chest and rushed to Montefiore Medical Center, where he died. Police found a second man, 30, shot in the leg about half a block away.He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center. Charges against him are pending, police said.
