Cohen won’t protect you, att’y tells Don

- Stephen Rex Brown and Bill Sanderson

PRESIDENT TRUMP can’t count on pal and personal lawyer Michael Cohen to follow the code of omerta, another Trump lawyer warned Wednesday.

Michael Cohen will readily give up Trump’s secrets to the feds in return for immunity from criminal charges, longtime Trump legal adviser Jay Goldberg says he told the President in a phone call Friday.

“Michael will never stand up” for Trump if the government moves against him with charges of breaking bank fraud and campaign finance laws, Goldberg said, The Wall Street Journal reported.

On a loyalty scale of 1 to 100, Cohen rates a 1, Goldberg advised Trump.

Goldberg — who told The Journal he doesn’t believe Trump broke any law — likened Cohen to a notorious Mafioso whose testimony helped the feds bring down John (Dapper Don) Gotti.

“The mob was broken by Sammy (The Bull) Gravano caving in out of the prospect of a jail sentence,” Goldberg told the paper in an interview.

Goldberg says he also advised Trump not to talk to special counsel Robert Mueller or his investigators. Mueller is probing possible collusion between Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia.

FBI agents raided Cohen’s home, hotel suite, safe deposit box and law office April 9 in an investigation led by the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office.

Agents hauled away 10 boxes of evidence, including documents and cell phones.
