Tomas Nido threw out Ryan Flaherty, who was trying to steal second, in a strikeout-throw-out double play for the Mets’ first caught stealing of the year. He did it again on a pitchout in the eighth, getting speedy second baseman Ozzie Albies. The Mets lead the majors with 23 stolen bases allowed.
