Train creep yelled Don’s biased rants
A TRUMP-SUPPORTING bigot who shoved a man he believed to be Mexican onto the train tracks at Union Square spouted some of the President’s most cringeworthy lines during the attack, cops said Sunday.
“You come here and you take our jobs,” cops said the attacker, who sported a red “Make America Great Again” hat and shirt, told his victim. “You bring drugs.”
The onslaught of derogatory statements began when both men were riding an uptown No. 4 train about 8:15 p.m. on Friday, according to police.
At Union Square, the suspect (photo inset) followed the victim off the train, punched him repeatedly in the head and pushed him on the tracks.
After announcing his presidential candidacy, Trump assailed Mexicans. “They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists,” he said in a rambling tirade at Trump Tower in June 2015.
The victim went to Bellevue Hospital for treatment of a cut on his head. A friend and a good Samaritan helped him back onto the platform, authorities said.
Cops are investigating the attack as a hate crime.
The suspect is described as having a dark complexion and heavy build. In addition to his MAGA garb, he wore blue jean overalls, a black three-quarters-length jacket and jewelry around his neck. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577- 8477.
