THE BODY OF a toddler who was found in a suitcase along New Jersey PATH train tracks this month has been identified, according to the Hudson County prosecutor.

On April 11, Port Authority workers spotted the suitcase under the Tonnelle Avenue Bridge in Jersey City. Cops confirmed it contained a child’s remains.

The girl, identified as Te’Myah Layauna Plummer, was born in Richmond, Va., in May 2016. The Richmond Police Department had been investigating her disappearance when her remains were discovered.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office tracked down Te’Myah’s father, Travis Plummer, 37, of Richmond, to San Juan. He was arrested April 19 and is charged with desecrating human remains. He’s awaiting extradition from Puerto Rico to New Jersey.

Officials are still looking into the cause of Te’Myah’s death, but investigators believe little Te’Myah may have died out of state.
