PAPA BUSH OUT OF HOSP
Former President George H.W. Bush was released from intensive care Wednesday following treatment for an infection that had spread to his blood.
The 93-year-old Bush (above), who was admitted to a Houstonarea hospital the day after his wife Barbara’s funeral, was moved to a regular patient room, where he's expected to stay for several more days, family repJim McGrath said.
“He is alert and talking with hospital staff, family and friends, and his doctors are very pleased with his progress,” McGrath said in a statement. “President Bush naturally thanks everyone for their prayers and good wishes."
