If it’s your birthday

-

MThere’s a door of opportunity open to you, though it depends entirely on your having faith in yourself. This can be modest: a bit of trust, the benefit of the doubt, reminding yourself you’ve risen to challenges and succeeded in the past. Then you must be the one to take action. Don’t wait for success to come to you. You are the one who must go to it. You share a birthday with Eugene Delacroix, Ma Rainey and Tionne (T-Boz) Watkins. MARCH 21-APRIL 19 Today seems to be the day that you make an important decision; you know what you want, what is necessary, and what you can no longer abide. However, you must act on this in a series of steps rather than in a lurch. Start with an easy, obvious move — probably involving money. MAY 21-JUNE 20 Now that you know you’re backed into a corner, you can see your way out. Remember that this is a mental box rather than a physical one. It’s entirely a concept, and if that’s some form of a paradox, you know that it has no real value. You can end your love affair with what makes no sense. JUNE 21-JULY 22 Suddenly you can see your way out of a trap or maze. Much of claiming your freedom involves recognizing the extent to which the trap was all in your mind, supported by your belief. Then there’s the question of authority. Who is the boss of your life? You, or someone else? JULY 23-AUG. 22 You know it’s time to take charge of certain tasks that only you can do. You have the ability to see the issues for what they are, and the motivation to power through them. Just remember to pace yourself. The first thing to do is prioritize, and begin in earnest. Then you’ll easily get it all done. AUG. 23-SEPT. 22 Don’t let anyone distract you, or compel you to change directions against your will. It will help if you see this coming in advance, and stay away from complainers, the incompetent and the rebels without a clue. Keep your focus, and know your agenda. You’re doing the right thing. SEPT. 23-OCT. 22 Today may be the day when you decide that enough really is enough when it comes to a family or household matter. Yet you will need to keep your temper, so that you may keep your credibility. Be polite and diplomatic even if you want to dump a bucket of paint over someone’s head. OCT. 23-NOV. 21 The important thing is not what you say. It’s what you know. It’s often claimed that “knowledge is power,” though to understand this, you need to feel it — and the present moment is a likely candidate for that. Eventually you will figure out what to do; for now, be grateful for your understanding. NOV. 22-DEC. 21 Don’t force a partner or loved one to make a decision. That will do damage in the long run. You don’t even need to exert much influence; people understand where you’re coming from. What you think is true has considerable sway. In truth, as you know, the rest is up to them. DEC. 22-JAN. 19 Don’t let any frustration get to you. You may be emotionally volatile, and could overreact. The thing to do is align yourself with your truth, and act on it without thinking you have to convince anyone, or fight with them. This is your business; make the decisions you need to make. JAN. 20-FEB. 18 You may feel strongly about something, though think carefully how to persuade others of your viewpoint. You might not even bother, unless you’re under some special obligation to respond or get people on board, which is unlikely. Tomorrow would be a better day for that, however. FEB. 19-MARCH 20 The time has come to declare yourself free to be who you are. True, this has happened in degrees over a fairly long period of time, and the action has increased since Mars changed signs around the time of your birthday. You like things mellow, but you learn a lot from friction.
