READY FOR PRIME TIME

Live from L.A., it’s Emmy night! “Saturday Night Live” stars Michael Che and Colin Jost (above, left to right) are trading in their “Weekend Update” news desk for co-hosting duties at this year’s Emmys. They’ll be the first pair to host the annual TV awards ceremony since 1999.

“We’re proud to be the first duo hosting the Emmys since Jenna Elfman and David Hyde Pierce, and somehow that’s a real fact,” Jost and Che said in a statement.

Jost, 35, joined “SNL” in 2014, while Che, 34, came on a year later. They were named co-head writers of the show last year.

The Emmys will air live on NBC Sept. 17 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
