SIMON SAYS HIS LOVE SAGA

- Nicki Gostin

There must be 50 ways to leave your lover, and a new biography of Paul Simon chronicles how the singer-songwriter met and ditched some of his.

The normally reclusive music legend (above) opened up to pop music writer Robert Hilburn for the first time in the book, “Paul Simon: The Life,” out May 8.

The Queens native spills about his first wife, Peggy Harper, who was married to his manager when they met, then moves on to Shelley Duvall, whom he dumped for Carrie Fisher. His marriage with her lasted a year.

And finally, Edie Brickell, to whom he’s still hitched.
