Sister act turns into money ‘lie’

VIRAL TRUMP-supporting sisters Diamond and Silk on Thursday repeatedly denied they were paid by the Trump campaign despite records from the Federal Election Commission that suggest the opposite is true.

According to a November 2016 receipt filed with the commission, the Trump campaign paid them $1,274 for “field consulting.”

“We are familiar with that particular lie, we can see that you do look at fake news,” Silk said, claiming the funds were instead a reimbursement for airline tickets.

“We’ve never been paid by the Trump campaign,” Diamond repeated.

The North Carolina-based siblings, who have netted more than a million followers on their Facbeook page, appeared before the panel of lawmakers Thursday to discuss filtering practices on social media.

The conservative duo have repeatedly accused Facebook and others of censoring their content and diminishing their reach because of their political affiliation.

“This is a stupid and ridiculous hearing,” Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) said.

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (DBrooklyn) pressed the pair on their nonpayment statements, and entered the commission’s documents into the record.

He also told the pair, “I respect your game.”
