ABBA’S GOT NEW TUNES

- Joe Dziemianowicz

ABBA fans have a reason to shout mamma mia!

The Swedish pop group announced the release of new material for the first time in more than three decades.

Two new tracks are forthcoming, including one titled “I Still Have Faith in You.” ABBA — Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Agnetha Faltskog — spread the word on social media Friday.

“We all four felt that, after some 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the recording studio,” the band noted. “It was like time had stood still and that we only had been away on a short holiday.”

The group split in 1982 but worked together on the stage musical “Mamma Mia!” that became a hit movie. The sequel hits theaters this summer.
