Bx. man hit in gal-pal slay rap

A 28-YEAR-OLD Bronx man on Friday was charged with killing his new girlfriend in his home, police said. Prince-Roy Mullings was charged with murder and weapons possession, though it wasn’t yet clear what he allegedly used to kill Kayon Williams, 31. She was found dead in his apartment on Lurting Ave., near Duncan St. in Williamsbridge, after police were called there to do a wellness check about 11:45 p.m. Thursday. Williams, who lived about 2 miles away in Wakefield, was face down in the bedroom with multiple injuries. An autopsy will determine the cause of death. The suspect, whom police found inside the apartment, said the two had just started dating but wouldn’t elaborate on how Williams died.
