That sure is a latte of meth!
A TRUCKER hauling Starbucks products in California was busted for possessing something a lot more stimulating than coffee.
Cops found 130 pounds of methamphetamine and other drugs in the cab of a semi bound from California to Spokane, Wash., said TV reports.
The truck’s driver and passenger acted suspiciously during a traffic stop Thursday, said Centralia cops.
A drug-sniffing dog found 40 bundles of meth in on the top bunk of the truck’s sleeping area, and another 50 bundles stashed on the lower bunk, said news reports.
Authorities also found several grams of cocaine, a little more than 2 pounds of what they believe is heroin and thousands of Oxycodone pills. None of the drugs were in the semi’s refrigerated trailer with the Starbucks products.
The driver, a 22-year-old Mexican, and the passenger, a 62-year-old Californian, face drug charges.
