Jet-window tragedy suit

-

A PASSENGER says she suffers post-traumatic stress disorder from seeing the “horror” of a woman partially sucked through a shattered window on a Southwest Airlines flight.

Lilia Chavez sat three seats behind Jennifer Riordan, 43, who died from her injuries she suffered in the April 17 incident on the flight from LaGuardia Airport to Dallas.

Chavez “prayed and feared for her life,” says a lawsuit filed Thursday in Philadelphia Federal Court.

She “contacted her children to tell them that she loved them and that she was preparing to die aboard the crippled aircraft,” the lawsuit says.

An engine explosion smashed the window on the Boeing 737. The jet made an emergency landing in Philadelphia.

“We can’t comment on any pending litigation,” Southwest said in a statement.
