Are those bizarre and scary, middle-ofthe-night Twitter rants by virulently anti-drug Donald Trump fueled by drugs? Or make that powered by one drug – Ambien? That’s the hypnotic sedative, allegedly dispensed to White House staffers like Tic Tacs at a garlic festival by house doctor Ronny (Candyman) Jackson.

Yes, or so one GOP inner-sanctum insider believes.

“Soon as we saw Trump’s ‘covfefe’ tweet,” she told me, “We said, ‘Oh, boy, Ambien!’”

Impossible? No. Even Dr. Jackson (above) who withdrew from consideration for secretary of Veterans Affairs because of allegations (disputed by the White House) of drinking and loosely dispensing strong drugs, has, in fact said that Trump takes Ambien on occasion on overseas flights.

Crazy Ambien tweeting is such a common phenomenon that world shakers like Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, admit to Ambien tweeting.

Hey, what could be dangerous about two of the most powerful men on the planet – one who designs spacecraft that will take humans to other planets as well as cars that can self-drive on this one, and the other man who heads a country of 325.7 million people – tweeting while on a hypnotic sedative?

At least we know our President hasn’t suffered any of the other reported Ambien sideeffects like abnormal thinking, binge eating and strange behavior.
