A JOINT EXPERIMENT

Filmmaker Kevin Smith thanks marijuana for saving his life. The 47-year-old Harlem native (above) claimed on Tuesday’s “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” that his doctor told him he survived a massive heart attack in February because he’d smoked a joint before it happened. “They told you you were having a massive heart attack, and you remained calm the whole time, so that joint saved your life,’ ” Smith claims his doctor told him. Smith didn’t know he was having a heart attack and just thought he was “too high.”
