- BY THOMAS TRACY

AN 85-YEAR-OLD woman was killed crossing the street Thursday after a Jeep Wrangler rammed into her on the Upper West Side, cops said.

Olympia David-Ocvi was crossing West End Ave. near W. 70th St. about 7 a.m. when a 48-year-old woman behind the wheel of the black Jeep (below) slammed into her. David-Ocvi suffered multiple injuries to her body, cops said.

Medics rushed her to New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, but doctors were unable to save her.

Witnesses told police that the victim was crossing midblock when she was struck.

The driver remained at the scene.

No charges were filed as police continue their investigation.

David-Ocvi is the second elderly woman to be struck and killed by a vehicle in the city in two days, cops said.

On Tuesday, Joan Tornabene, also 85, died after an out-of-control Jeep pinned her between two cars at a Brooklyn car wash.

Her husband, 90-year-old Frank Tornabene, a retired NYPD lieutenant, was also hit and was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.

A worker was pulling the car out of the car wash at the Kings One Super Center on Avenue U near Gerritsen Ave. in Sheepshead Bay about 2:50 p.m. when he barreled into the couple. No charges were filed.

As of Wednesday, 33 people have been struck and killed by cars across the five boroughs — two less than the 35 who were killed this time last year, according to police.
