Gigi blames mag for her terrible look

SUPERMODEL Gigi Hadid blamed too much makeup for her latest racial scandal Thursday.

Hadid, 23, apologized for a European magazine cover that appears to show her donning blackface in the May issue of Vogue Italia (photo). “I want to address this for those who were offended by the editing/retouching/coloring of the cover,” she tweeted. “Please know that things would have been different if my control of the situation was different.”

This isn’t the first time a Vogue Italia cover has stirred up controversy for Hadid.

She graced the cover of the magazine’s November 2015 issue in a blue afro, and sported a series of pastel-colored wigs in the book's pages.

Hadid also faced backlash last year after video surfaced of her squinting her eyes while holding a Buddha-shaped cookie.
