Suspect ID’d in deadly shoot at B’klyn party

COPS HAVE identified a person of interest in the drive-by shooting that turned a Brooklyn block party into a war zone.

Gunfire erupted minutes before midnight Wednesday outside the Marcus Garvey Apartments in Brownsvill­e, leaving an 18-year-old man dead and four others wounded.

Police said the man being sought for questionin­g is on probation for attempted murder and was previously arrested for a push-in robbery.

The suspect opened fire from a dark-colored Hyundai SUV as it rolled south on Bristol St., police said.

Bodies were found strewn on both Dumont Ave., and Chester and Bristol Sts., cops said. At least 14 shell casings were found on Bristol St. alone.

Javon Collins died at Brookdale University Hospital about two hours later, police said. A 21-yearold Yonkers man was shot in the head, another 21-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to his right leg and right hand and a 20-year-old man was hit in the left foot and left shoulder. Another man, 21, was hit in the face and right hip.
