Sanitman is held in grope, attack at bar

AN OFF-DUTY sanitation worker grabbed a woman’s crotch at a Flatiron District sports bar and slugged both her and her boyfriend Sunday, cops said.

Thomas Dardia, 24, groped the 26-year-old victim at the Bounce Sporting Club on W. 21st St. near Sixth Ave. around 12:20 a.m., according to authorities.

The woman then slapped Dardia, who punched her in the face, cops said.

When her boyfriend tried to intervene, Dardia socked him in the eye, police said.

The victim complained of pain in her cheek. Her 27-year-old boyfriend was treated for a cut to his eye.

Cops cuffed Dardia and charged him with sexual abuse and two counts of assault. He was issued a desk appearance ticket and released, police said.

The bar did not return a message seeking comment Sunday night.
