Grim crash in Brooklyn

A MAN WAS in critical condition and three others were injured after a Honda and a minivan collided in Brooklyn, cops said.

The crash happened around 6 a.m. on E. 85th St. at Seaview Ave. in Canarsie, an FDNY spokesman said.

The collision investigat­ion squad was probing the A BROOKLYN man fatally stabbed his dad in the neck in his home Sunday, police said.

A relative found Troy Jones, 43, unconsciou­s on a couch in his home on Flatbush Ave. at Aurelia Court in Flatlands at 10:30 a.m.

Police said they soon settled on Jones’ son, Tyemear Jones, 23, as a person of interest. Newark cops arrested the son later Sunday on theft-ofservices and weapons charges and notified Brooklyn detectives, sources said. cause of the crash.

The 26 year-old driver of the red Honda was taken to Brookdale University Hospital with life-threatenin­g injuries.

The passenger in his car, as well as the two people in the minivan, were also taken to Brookdale with minor injuries.

Tyemear Jones had a knife that’s believed to be the murder weapon on him and made incriminat­ing statements, police sources said. NYPD cops charged him with murder and weapon possession.

Before the arrest, a woman who identified herself as the victim’s sister said she didn’t know why anyone would want to hurt him.

“We don’t know what happened,” she said. “He was a loving person.”
