Sharpton’s kid let off in cab rap
CHARGES against the daughter of the Rev. Al Sharpton in her cabbie-hitting case were dismissed Monday after she complied with the terms of an agreement.
Ashley Sharpton’s case was called in Manhattan Criminal Court without an appearance for the matter to be formally tossed and sealed. The child of the famous civil rights leader was charged with harassment and petty larceny after she allegedly struck cab driver Georges Coly and chucked his keys during a Sept. 9 altercation while out with friends celebrating her 30th birthday.
She agreed to undergo angermanagement training after the spat around 1 a.m. at W. 48th St. and Ninth Ave.
Prosecutors offered Ashley Sharpton the deal in November. She was also required to stay out of trouble for six months.
