Killer knifed sleeping dad in neck: cops

A BROOKLYN man accused of killing his dad waited until his father dozed on the couch before hacking him with a knife, prosecutors said Monday. Tyemear Jones, 23, chopped so deeply into his father’s neck that the blade cut bone, prosecutors said. Police found the dad, Troy Jones, 43, dead at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The son was ordered held without bail and placed on suicide watch.
