‘Healer’ a heel
Cuffed over sex abuse, strut on preg woman’s belly
A BRONX “spiritual healer” molested a pregnant woman and walked on her stomach during a so-called Santeria ritual, causing her to miscarry, cops said Tuesday.
Cristian Robles, 32, is accused of sexually abusing three men and two women during sessions in his Fordham Heights home.
In one ceremony, he walked on a 26-year-old pregnant woman’s back and stomach for 10 minutes while her husband, 24, watched, police sources said.
The woman told Robles she was six weeks pregnant, and she lost the child, sources said.
The abuse took place in March and April, and Robles gave some of his victims a potion that incapacitated them, cops said.
The horndog healer used a knife to cut off some of his victims’ clothing, had sex with two of the men and molested all five people, sources said.
He told one of the men to have sex with him because his body was a vessel for the saints, sources said.
The victims, which included the husband and wife, two men, ages 20 and 29, and a woman, 39, walked into the 46th Precinct stationhouse together Monday to report the alleged sex crimes, cops said. Police are also investigating whether he abused others, sources said.
Robles lived with three children, all of whom are now in the custody of the city Administration for Children’s Services, sources said.
Cops charged Robles Tuesday with criminal sex act, sexual abuse, weapons possession and abortion.
Abortion is illegal in certain specific circumstances in New York, like inducing a miscarriage against a woman’s will or without her consent, as in this case.
Robles said nothing as he ducked his head and tried to hide his face as he walked out of the NYPD’s Bronx special victims squad headquarters.
