THIS DATE, May 8th, is one of the few dates that actually mean something in Knicks history. In fact May 8th, 1970 is Knicks history. It is Willis Reed limping out of the tunnel and Walt Frazier producing a Game 7 for the ages long before the internet and social media declared everything and everyone the greatest ever. Frazier went for 36 points and 19 assists against the Lakers that day.
