WANDERING TO BROADWAY

Dion DiMucci wah-wah-wahwonders when his musical “The Wanderer” will find its way to Broadway. A performance of the 78-year-old Bronx native’s show at Symphony Space Theater last week attracted Chazz Palminteri, Danny Aiello and Paul Shaffer as buzz continues to swirl about where the story of the “Runaround Sue” singer will wind up. “There have been a number of meetings and calls with regional theaters across the country vying to be the very first location for a run of the musical,” according to one insider tied to the production.
