Cab hits livery car in Chelsea

- Woman (above) is pinned after cab (top left) slammed into livery car (main photo) in an accident that injured six people in Chelsea.

Medics took the injured people to Bellevue Hospital, three of them in serious condition, an FDNY spokesman said.

“You could hear him coming. And then there was a really big crash. We ran outside and the lady was on the hood of the car,” said Abdelhafez .

In the video a man tries to comfort the woman, who is conscious and asking for her son.

“I want to see him,” she says as a handful of bystanders hold up their cell phones to record the mayhem.

“The driver was still pinned in the car by the airbags. He couldn’t get out,” Abdelhafez explained.

Twitter user Danilo Gabrielli posted video of the aftermath moments after it happened.

“#Omg I could see the face of this person laying down with her head on top@of the car,” Gabrielli wrote.

The crash also drew the attention of City Council Speaker Corey Johnson, who was attending a benefit nearby.

“Thank God nobody was killed. I was at a benefit For the Friends of the High Line and I ran right over,” he said. “I wanted to make sure everyone was all right.”
