The top storylines for the Giants as the rookies head to offseason camp

THE QUARTERBAC­K is typically the story at rookie minicamp whenever an NFL team drafts one. But this weekend’s Giants two-day camp provides several more layers of intrigue given the magnitude of April’s draft.

Namely, as fourth-round QB Kyle Lauletta out of Richmond throws his first passes as a Giant, all eyes also will be on No. 2 overall pick Saquon Barkley, who faces the pressure of being a savior of sorts for incumbent 37-year-old starter Eli Manning — as well as possibly the future face of the franchise. So here are the top five storylines to follow as rookie camp gets underway at Quest Diagnostic­s Training Center in East Rutherford, with morning coach and player availabili­ty followed by afternoon practices.
