ATTA ‘GIRL’

- Joe Dziemianowicz

The Encores! reboot of the 1980s revival of the 1937 English musical “Me and My Girl” is a ridiculously fun, silly and tuneful tonic. So drink up! There are two more performances apiece on Saturday and Sunday at City Center. Comic ace Christian Borle (above) is “Me” — Cockney free-spirit Bill whose blue-blood relatives try to turn him into a stuffed shirt. Lovely Laura Michelle Kelly is Sally, the “Girl” Bill won’t give up. Ever-hilarious Harriet Harris, elastic Mark Evans and an invaluable Lisa O’Hare step up — and then some — in directorchoreographer Warren Carlyle’s gleamy, dreamy staging.
