Ayatollah full of ‘Fire & Fury’
HE’S THE Aya-trollah.
Iran Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei apparently trolled President Trump by reading a translated copy of “Fire and Fury” — Michael Wolff’s controversial tell-all about the Trump administration — at the Tehran International Book Fair Friday.
A photograph of the bearded leader perusing Wolff’s latest opus — in Farsi — was shared on his Instagram page with the caption: “Today, the Revolutionary Leader is browsing a book about #Trump, the President of the United States in the #Tehran Exhibitions.”
Court photographer Raouf Moehseni reportedly took the photograph, according to BBC reporter Hadi Nili.
The rights to “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” were sold to 32 countries, according to publisher Henry Holt & Co.
Trump has savaged the tome as a “phony book” that’s “filled with lies.”
The Ayatollah laced into Trump this week, after he announced the U.S. was pulling out of what he called the “rotten and decaying” Iran nuclear deal.
