Cops search for subway punch goon

PLEASE STAND clear of the raging commuter.

Cops are asking the public’s help finding a man who inexplicab­ly sucker-punched a stranger on a Queens subway train.

On Saturday police released cell phone photos of the suspect taken by witnesses to the assault.

The assailant (photo) stormed up to his 29-year-old victim on a No. 7 train approachin­g the 46th St./Bliss St. station in Sunnyside about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday and punched him without warning.

The brawler dashed off the train at the station and disappeare­d, cops said.

Medics took the victim, who lives in North Corona, to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was treated for a swollen lip and a deep cut to his face.

The suspect is described as Hispanic and 6-foot-1 with black hair and a light mustache and goatee. He was wearing a light green shirt, a blue-and-gray windbreake­r and dark green pants.
