Man fatally stabs gal pal in Bx. – cops

A BERSERK boyfriend knifed his sweetheart to death inside the bedroom of their Bronx apartment early Saturday — while several children slept nearby, cops said.

Tyrone Crawley, 60, allegedly stabbed girlfriend Sheila Williams, 67, in the neck, chest and leg during the 1:50 a.m. attack inside their 25th-floor flat on Sedgwick Ave. — part of the Riverview Apartments in Morris Heights.

Williams’ 39-year-old daughter, who lived in another apartment, witnessed the violence and tried to stop it, but Crawley lunged at her with the blade, slashing her forearm. The daughter ran home and called 911, but Williams was already dead when police arrived.

When cops arrived, Crawley tried to escape out a window, but responding officers Tased him, sources said.

Four children were allegedly in the apartment, but not harmed. It was not immediately disclosed if they witnessed the attack.

Crawley was hospitalized at St. Barnabas Hospital, cops said. He’s charged with murder, manslaughter, assault, acting in a manner injurious to a child and weapons possession.
