After washout, Thor is delayed

PHILADELPHIA — The Mets game against the Phillies on Saturday was rained out and will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Thursday, August 16 beginning at 4 p.m.

Jacob deGrom will start as scheduled on Sunday. The Mets will push back Saturday’s scheduled starter, Noah Syndergaard, to Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays at Citi Field. Zack Wheeler will pitch Wednesday.

The make-up game will be part of a four-game series in August, in which the Mets and Phillies will end with a game in Williamsport, Pa. — Ackert
